Mrs. Stout
Marycarol Stout has been an Atlanta Academy parent for the past five years and this is her second year on the faculty. Her BA degrees are from Emory University and are in Psychology and Religion (with a minor in Sociolgy). She also earned a Master's Degree in Education at UGA and has previously worked in Counseling for Catholic Social Services and Northside Hospital. Her "second career" started after her son was born working as the "Older 3's" Preschool Teacher at the Day School in Sandy Springs.
Married to Carter and mother to Carolann and Anthony, Mrs. Stout is also a Girl Scout Leader and the Troop Coordinator for the Atlanta Academy. She also loves to read, cook and is a devoted Auburn football fan (WAR EAGLE!)
Mrs. Kleinhans
"Mrs. K" attended St. Mary's of the Springs in Columbus, Ohio, and then graduated as a Laboratory Technician from the Medical College of Technology in Minneapolis. She aslo has an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Waukesha Technical Institute. She worked at Christ the King as a Teacher's Assistant for fourteen years before joining the Atlanta Academy. She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program. She and her husband Ken have two daughters and three granddaughters. Her oldest granddaughter is in the seventh grade, her second granddaughter is in the third grade and the youngest is in the Young Fives "Zoo Crew" this year, all at the Atlanta Academy. When not working she enjoys traveling, reading and movies.
