Spring 2009
The Superstars are so excited to see signs of Spring!!!! Recess is much more fun without coats, mittens hats. We hope that the beautiful days just keep coming.
The Pre-K are using our Five Senses to find out about the world around us. We see things all both in the classroom and outside (and most everyone can name the beginning letters and their sounds of everything we see). We are listening to hear rhyming words in stories (they tickle you ears!) and words that start with the same beginning sounds (like "beach ball" and "candy cane". Outside we hear birds (especially the geese who live close by), bumblebees and laughter. We smell the flowers on the trees that are starting to bloom and the scent of new grass. New grass and flower petals feel so soft when we touch them. The ground feels warm when the sun shines down on it. So do our faces. The whole class loves tasting our yummy cooking projects!
The entire Preschool will be working on a special Earth Day project soon. More details to come!
